Gameplay FAQ
How do I launch?
Your comet circles automatically. Tap anywhere during active play to launch along its current tangent. Aim for the next glowing orbit rail; you do not need to swipe or hold.
What counts as a perfect catch?
A catch close to the center line of a rail earns the strongest quality. Clean catches build your combo; edge catches save the run but reset it.
What does wall mode change?
With walls enabled, side impacts bounce the comet back into play and can become part of a skilled route. With no walls, a wide launch can leave the flight zone.
Is Daily Orbit the same for everyone?
The daily mode uses a date-based seed so players receive the same generated universe for that day, subject to the same game version and platform behavior.
Progress and saves
Where is my progress stored?
The current release stores scores, shards, unlocks, and settings locally on your device. PeriHop does not currently require an account or operate cloud saves.
Can deleted progress be restored?
Vertex Group cannot retrieve local progress. Your device platform may restore app data from a backup depending on your settings, but this is controlled by the platform and is not guaranteed.
How do I reset everything?
Use your operating system’s app-storage controls or delete and reinstall the app. This permanently removes local progress unless the platform restores a backup.
Audio and haptics
Use the speaker icon on the home screen to turn game sounds on or off. Haptic feedback depends on device support and system settings. If sound is missing, verify both the in-game toggle and your device volume or silent-mode settings.
App-store rating prompts
After enough play and a positive milestone, PeriHop may ask the official app store to show its standard rating card. The operating system decides whether it appears. You can dismiss it, and the game limits how often it asks. Ratings and reviews are processed by Apple or Google, not by PeriHop.
Quick troubleshooting
- Pause and return to the PeriHop home screen, then retry the run.
- Close and reopen the app.
- Confirm your operating system and PeriHop are up to date.
- Restart the device if audio, haptics, or rendering remains stuck.
- Before reinstalling, remember that local progress may be lost.
If the problem continues, email support with the details listed above.
